A fence should fit the way you use your property. Whether your priorities are privacy, a defined outdoor space or replacing an aging fence, Watson & Sons Carpentry can help you plan the next step.
Start with your yard, not a one-size-fits-all fence.
We discuss the layout, the appearance you prefer and how you need to move through the space. Gate locations, changes in the ground and connections to existing structures are part of that conversation from the start.
Wood fencing and practical gate layouts.
Our gallery includes wood fences and gates in different styles. Bring us an idea, a photograph or simply a description of what is not working with your current fence. We can talk through the options for your property and include the agreed materials and scope in your estimate.
Replacing an existing fence.
When an old fence is no longer doing its job, the first question is whether it needs a full replacement or a more limited repair. Tell us about leaning sections, damaged boards or a gate that no longer works properly. We will discuss the condition of the existing fence before settling on the scope.
What to have ready for your estimate.
- Your project location and the area you would like fenced.
- The main reason for the fence: privacy, a defined boundary or another need.
- Your preferred style and any photos that help explain it.
- Gate locations, access needs and information about an existing fence.
- Any property-line documentation or association requirements you already have.
Property boundaries, local requirements and any association approvals should be confirmed for the particular project before construction. An estimate is not a boundary survey or an approval.
